I am an Associate Professor at the Open University of Israel, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (on extended leave of absence). Since April, 2018 I am also at Amazon AWS.
My work is mostly related to Machine Learning (Deep Learning), Statistical Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Over the years I worked quite a bit on problems related to face images (face recognition, 3D face reconstruction, facial attributes, and more). I also worked on problems related to human action recognition in videos, dense correspondence estimation, local feature design and matching, and many more.
